If you have ever drawn a lot of steelwork on CAD and not used a specialist steelwork package then you can understand where the idea for this came from.
After drawing hundreds of steelwork sections, plans and elevation I thought to myself, "There must be an easier way of doing all this rather than repeating the same tasks over and over again?".
Hence the above steelwork package was developed.
Fair enough, it does not contain all the additional extras that some of the bigger packages have such as dimensioning up the sections and scheduling the steelwork weights etc. But it does do all the simple things that you need like drawing the section, plan and elevation to scale and placing it in the correct layer. It will even add the section size if you wish.
Now how often have you wished that a package would do this with having to go into all the extras options as so often requested by other design packages?
